Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended for this shower system. Ensure proper rough-in dimensions and water connections are prepared according to standard plumbing practices.

  1. Prepare Wall Cavity: Ensure the wall cavity is adequately sized for the thermostatic valve body.
  2. Install Valve Body: Securely mount the thermostatic valve body within the wall, ensuring it is level and at the correct depth relative to the finished wall surface. Connect hot and cold water lines to the designated inlets.
  3. Connect Outlets: Connect the water outlets from the valve to the ceiling rainfall shower head, wall mount shower head, and handheld shower hose.
  4. Install Shower Heads:
    • Mount the 12-inch rainfall shower head to the ceiling connection.
    • Mount the 6-inch wall mount shower head to its wall connection. This head provides a high-pressure massage flow and can be adjusted 360 degrees.
  5. Install Handheld Shower: Attach the 59-inch shower hose to the designated outlet and connect the handheld shower head. Secure the handheld shower holder to the wall.
  6. Install Trim Plate and Controls: Once plumbing connections are complete and tested for leaks, install the decorative trim plate and control knobs onto the valve body.
  7. Test System: Turn on the main water supply and test all shower functions and temperature controls for proper operation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your shower system.

  • Cleaning: Clean the shower heads and control panel regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the matte black finish.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: The shower heads feature touch-clean silicone nozzles. Periodically rub the nozzles to dislodge any mineral buildup.
  • Thermostatic Cartridge: If temperature control becomes inconsistent, the thermostatic cartridge may need cleaning or replacement. Consult a qualified plumber for this service.
  • Water Spots: Wipe down the system after each use to minimize water spots, especially on the matte finish.
