4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your FeelTech FY6200 Signal Generator/Counter:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the device and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present according to the packing list.
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the rear panel of the device. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.
- Initial Power On: Press the power button located on the front panel to turn on the device. The 3.2-inch color screen should illuminate.
- Language Setting: Upon first use, you may need to set the language. Navigate to the SYSTEM menu (refer to Section 5.1) and select 'English'.
- Output Connections: Connect your test leads or cables to the CH1 Output and CH2 Output BNC connectors on the front panel as required for your application. The Counter input is also available for frequency measurement.

5. Operating Instructions
The FY6200 features an intuitive interface with a color screen and dedicated function buttons. This section outlines basic operation.
5.1 System Settings
To access system settings, press the SYSTEM button. You can adjust parameters such as model information, firmware version, language, buzzer status, and synchronization settings.

5.2 Waveform Generation
The device can generate various standard waveforms and arbitrary waveforms. Use the WAVE button to select the desired waveform type (e.g., Sine, Square, Triangle, Pulse, Arbitrary).
- Frequency Adjustment: Use the rotary encoder and arrow keys to set the desired frequency.
- Amplitude Adjustment: Adjust the output amplitude using the dedicated controls.
- Offset Adjustment: Set the DC offset for the waveform.
- Duty Cycle: For pulse and square waves, adjust the duty cycle.
- Phase: For dual-channel operation, adjust the phase difference between CH1 and CH2.
5.3 Dual Channel Operation
The FY6200 offers two independent output channels. You can enable or disable each channel using the CH1 Output and CH2 Output buttons. The display shows parameters for both channels simultaneously.
The standard channel tracking function allows both channels' parameters to be updated simultaneously based on user settings when tracking is enabled.
5.4 Scan Function
The scan function allows the device to sweep through a range of frequencies, amplitudes, offsets, or duty cycles. Press the SWEEP button to access scan settings.
- Scan Type: Select between Linear Scan and Logarithmic Scan.
- Scan Parameter: Choose the parameter to scan (Frequency, Amplitude, Offset, Duty Cycle).
- Start/End Points: Set the beginning and end values for the scan range.
- Scan Time: Adjust the duration of the scan, up to 999.99 seconds.
5.5 Burst Output Function
The burst function allows the output of a specific number of pulses. Press the MOD button and navigate to the burst settings.
- Trigger Source: Select Manual Trigger, Internal CH2 Trigger, or External Trigger.
- Pulse Count: Set the number of pulses to output (1 to 1,048,575).
5.6 Frequency Counter
The built-in frequency counter can measure external signals. Connect the signal to the Counter input BNC connector. Press the COUNTER button to activate the frequency counter mode.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your FY6200 device.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
