Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup of your digital timer:

  1. Charge the Internal Battery: Before first use, plug the timer into a live electrical outlet for at least 30 minutes to charge the internal battery. This battery maintains settings during power interruptions.
  2. Reset the Timer: Use a small pointed object (like a pen tip) to press the 'R' (Reset) button located next to the 'CLOCK' button. This clears all previous settings. The display will show '0:00'.
  3. Set Current Time:
    • Press and hold the 'CLOCK' button.
    • While holding 'CLOCK', press 'WEEK' repeatedly to select the current day of the week (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
    • While holding 'CLOCK', press 'HOUR' repeatedly to set the current hour (AM/PM will change accordingly).
    • While holding 'CLOCK', press 'MIN' repeatedly to set the current minute.
    • Release the 'CLOCK' button. The current time is now set.

Operating Instructions

This timer allows for flexible programming to suit various needs.

Programming ON/OFF Schedules:

The timer supports up to 8 ON/OFF programs. Each program consists of an ON time and an OFF time.

  1. Press the 'PROG' button once. The display will show '1 ON' and '0:00'.
  2. Press 'WEEK' to select the desired day(s) for this program. Options include: MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU, MO TU WE TH FR SA SU (Daily), MO TU WE TH FR (Weekdays), SA SU (Weekends), MO TU WE TH FR SA, MO WE FR, TU TH SA, etc.
  3. Press 'HOUR' to set the desired ON hour.
  4. Press 'MIN' to set the desired ON minute.
  5. Press 'PROG' again. The display will show '1 OFF' and '0:00'.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired OFF time for Program 1.
  7. To set additional programs (2-8), press 'PROG' again and repeat steps 2-6 for each program.
  8. After setting all desired programs, press the 'CLOCK' button to return to the current time display.

Manual Mode (ON/OFF/AUTO):

The 'MANUAL' button cycles through three modes: ON, OFF, and AUTO.

  • MANUAL ON: The timer will continuously supply power to the outlets, overriding any programs.
  • MANUAL OFF: The timer will continuously cut power to the outlets, overriding any programs.
  • AUTO: The timer will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF schedules. This is the default mode for programmed operation.

To activate AUTO mode: Press and hold the 'MANUAL' button for approximately 4 seconds until 'AUTO' appears on the display. The timer will not execute programs unless it is in AUTO mode.

Random Mode:

The 'RND' (Random) button activates a security feature that turns connected lights ON and OFF at random intervals between 6:00 PM and 5:30 AM. This simulates occupancy to deter intruders when you are away.

  • Press the 'RND' button once to activate Random Mode. 'RND' will appear on the display.
  • Press 'RND' again to deactivate it.

Daylight Saving Time Adjustment:

To adjust for Daylight Saving Time, press the '+1h' button. The time will advance by one hour. Press it again to revert. This feature is indicated by '+1h' on the display.

  • Clean the timer with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the timer is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Store the timer in a cool, dry place when not in use.
