Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. A full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours.
- Locate the charging port, usually protected by a waterproof flap.
- Open the flap and connect the supplied USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once fully charged.
2. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights activate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights turn off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
Connect your Sharp GX-BT190 speaker to your Bluetooth-enabled device.

- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (the LED indicator will typically flash rapidly).
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth device, go to the Bluetooth settings menu.
- Search for available devices. You should see "SHARP GX-BT190" in the list.
- Select "SHARP GX-BT190" to connect. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will typically stop flashing and remain solid.
- The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
For an immersive stereo experience, you can pair two Sharp GX-BT190 speakers together.
- Ensure both GX-BT190 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be your primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (refer to speaker diagram if available, otherwise assume a dedicated button or a combination).
- The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.
- To disconnect TWS, press and hold the TWS button on either speaker.
Operating the Speaker
1. Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once to play or pause music.
- Volume Up/Down: Press the Volume + button to increase volume, and the Volume - button to decrease volume.
- Next Track: Press and hold the Volume + button to skip to the next track.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume - button to go to the previous track.
2. Hands-Free Calling
When connected to your smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.
- Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once when an incoming call rings.
- End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call to end it.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds when an incoming call rings.
3. LED Mood Lights
The speaker features 6 different LED mood light modes.
- Change Mode: Press the Light Mode button (or a dedicated button, if available) to cycle through the different light effects.
- Turn Off Lights: Continue pressing the Light Mode button until the lights turn off, or press and hold the button for 2 seconds.
