  6. Release the knob. If the flame goes out, repeat the ignition process.
  7. Adjust the flame to the desired cooking intensity.

Using the Bottom Burner (Baking/Roasting)

The bottom burner is ideal for baking, roasting, and general cooking that requires heat from below.

  1. Place your food on the appropriate tray or grid within the oven.
  2. Ignite the bottom burner as described above.
  3. Adjust the bottom burner control knob to achieve the desired temperature.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your ALVA Gas Oven.

Cleaning the Oven

  1. Always ensure the oven is completely cool and the gas supply is turned off before cleaning.
  2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish.
  3. Interior: The enamel-covered inner cavity is designed for easy cleaning. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe away spills and food residue. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive oven cleaner suitable for gas ovens can be used, following the product's instructions.
  4. Removable Door: The double-glass oven door can be removed for thorough cleaning. Consult the diagram in Figure 1 for guidance on door removal. Clean the glass with a glass cleaner or soapy water. Ensure the door is dry before reattaching.
  5. Trays and Grid: The deep dish, shallow tray, and chrome grid can be washed with warm soapy water or placed in a dishwasher if suitable.
  6. Burners: Keep the burner ports clean to ensure efficient flame distribution. Use a soft brush to remove any food particles. Do not use water directly on the burners when they are hot.

Storage

If storing the oven for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Disconnect the gas cylinder and store the oven in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
