Charging the Guitar
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the guitar. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the guitar's charging port and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). Initial Tuning
While the guitar is set up for playability out of the box, a quick tuning is recommended before your first session. Use a standard guitar tuner or the tuner function within the Enya Music App to ensure accurate pitch for all six strings. The closed tuners are designed for smooth and stable tuning.
Enya Music App Installation and Pairing
To unlock the full potential of your Nova Go Sonic, download the Enya Music App from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your guitar via Bluetooth. The app allows for customization of presets, access to additional effects, and control over various guitar settings.
Operating Instructions
Onboard 10W Wireless Speaker
The Nova Go Sonic features a built-in 10-watt speaker, providing ample volume for practice and small jam sessions without external amplification. The speaker amplifies both the guitar's sound and any effects or backing tracks played through it. This integrated speaker simplifies your setup, allowing for immediate play anywhere.

Using Onboard Presets
The guitar comes with four onboard presets: Clean, Overdrive, Crunch, and Lead. These can be cycled through using the dedicated button on the guitar body. Each preset is fully customizable via the Enya Music App, allowing you to fine-tune your sound with virtual pedal effects such as amp models, equalizers, modulation, noise reduction, delay, and reverb. These presets are active whether using the onboard speaker or an external amplifier.

Pickup Configuration and Tone Control
The Nova Go Sonic features an Alnico 2 magnet humbucker in the neck position and an Alnico 5 humbucker in the bridge position. This combination provides a versatile tonal range, from vintage warmth to powerful modern sounds. The push-pull volume knob allows for coil splitting of the neck pickup, offering a single-coil tone similar to a Stratocaster's "in-between" sounds, expanding your sonic palette.

Connectivity Options
- Wireless Connectivity: Connect your smart device wirelessly to the guitar to stream backing tracks through the onboard speaker, allowing you to play along with your favorite songs.
- 3.5mm Headphone Output: For silent practice, plug headphones into the 3.5mm jack. This allows you to hear your playing and any backing tracks without disturbing others.
- USB Type-C (OTG Recording): The USB Type-C port serves for charging and On-The-Go (OTG) recording. You can record your guitar playing, including any effects and backing tracks, directly to an external device.

Maintenance
General Care and Cleaning
The Enya Nova Go Sonic is constructed from carbon fiber composite material, offering exceptional durability under various environmental conditions. To clean the guitar, wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
String Replacement
The guitar comes equipped with Nickel High Carbon strings. Replace strings regularly to maintain optimal tone and playability. When replacing strings, do so one at a time to maintain neck tension. Ensure new strings are properly seated in the zero-fret and bridge system.

Fretboard and Fret Care
The fretboard is made of carbon material. The frets feature a round end polishing for a smooth playing feel. Periodically inspect the frets for wear. If significant wear occurs, professional fret dressing may be required to maintain optimal playability.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| String Buzz | Action too low, uneven frets, or neck relief issues. | Check neck relief and bridge height. Adjust as needed. If persistent, consult Enya Musical support for guidance. |
| Audio Feedback from Speaker | High volume or certain frequencies causing resonance. | Reduce the volume. In the Enya Music App, access the mixer option to decrease the overall volume or adjust specific frequencies to eliminate feedback. |
| Cannot Connect to Enya Music App | Bluetooth not enabled, guitar not in pairing mode, or app issues. | Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Restart the guitar and the app. Try re-pairing the device. Refer to the app's help section for specific pairing instructions. |
| No Sound Output | Low battery, volume turned down, or incorrect output selection. | Charge the guitar. Increase the volume knob. Ensure no headphones are plugged in if you intend to use the onboard speaker. Check cable connections if using an external amp. |
