5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Converting from Chest to Bed
- Ensure the area in front of the chest is clear of obstructions.
- Unlatch any securing mechanisms on the front panel of the chest.
- Gently pull the front panel outwards and downwards. The bed frame will unfold as you do so.
- Continue unfolding until the bed frame is fully extended and the support legs are securely in place.
- The 6-inch Fold-A-Way mattress will unfold automatically as the bed extends. Adjust the mattress as needed for comfort.

5.2 Converting from Bed to Chest
- Remove all bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) from the mattress.
- Lift the foot of the bed frame, allowing the support legs to fold inwards.
- Gently push the bed frame and mattress back into the chest cavity. The mattress will fold as the frame retracts.
- Close the front panel of the chest and secure any latches.

5.3 Using the Built-in USB Charging Station
