LED Indicators:
- Power LED: Solid green when powered on.
- 5G Signal LED:
- Green: Excellent 5G signal.
- Orange: Good 5G signal.

Setup
1. Insert SIM Card
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the rear of the device.
- Insert a Nano-SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner oriented correctly. Push until it clicks into place.
- To remove the SIM card, gently push it in again until it springs out.
2. Power On the Device
- Connect the supplied power adapter to the power port on the device.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The Power LED will illuminate, and the device will begin to boot up. This may take a few minutes.
3. Optimal Placement
For the best 5G signal reception and Wi-Fi coverage, place the ZTE MC888 Ultra in an open area, away from obstructions, and preferably near a window. Observe the 5G Signal LED for optimal placement (Green indicates excellent signal).
4. Connect to Wi-Fi
- On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) printed on the label at the bottom of your ZTE MC888 Ultra.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password (Wi-Fi Key) also found on the label.
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi LED on the device will turn solid green.
5. Access Web Management Interface
- Open a web browser on a device connected to the CPE's Wi-Fi network.
- Type the default IP address (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) into the address bar and press Enter. Refer to the device label for the exact IP.
- Enter the default username and password (usually "admin" for both, or as specified on the device label).
- You will now have access to the device's settings, where you can customize Wi-Fi names, passwords, and other advanced features.
Operating the Device
Basic Internet Access
Once the SIM card is inserted and the device is powered on, it will automatically connect to the 5G network and provide internet access via Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports. No further configuration is typically required for basic internet browsing.
Managing Wi-Fi Settings
Through the web management interface, you can:
- Change Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
- Change Wi-Fi Password
- Enable/Disable Wi-Fi 6E (if supported by your devices)

Factory Reset

- Use a paperclip or a similar pointed object to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 5 seconds.
- Release the button when the LEDs flash, indicating the reset process has begun.
- The device will restart with factory default settings. You will need to reconfigure your Wi-Fi and other settings.
