1. Introduction

The KICHI GPS + Beidou Tracker -V51 is a versatile and compact personal tracking device designed for various applications including elderly care, personal safety, pet monitoring, and asset tracking. It features advanced positioning technologies including 4G LTE, 3G WCDMA, 2G GSM, GPS, Beidou, LBS, and Wi-Fi for accurate location tracking.

Key functionalities include two-way voice communication, SOS emergency alarm, speed dial, geo-fencing, fall detection with alerts, and real-time tracking via web platform or mobile application.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device. This may void the warranty and cause damage.
  • Keep the device away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and corrosive materials.
  • Ensure the charging cable is properly connected to prevent short circuits.
  • Use only the provided magnetic USB cable for charging.
  • While the device is waterproof (IP67), avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets.
  • Dispose of the device and battery according to local regulations.

3. Package Contents

Note: SIM card is not included and must be purchased separately.

4. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the device's components:

  • SOS Button: Large orange button for emergency calls.
  • Speed Dial Buttons (1 & 2): Smaller orange buttons for pre-set contacts.
  • SIM Card Slot: Located on the side, requires a screwdriver to open.
  • Charging Port: Magnetic contacts for the USB charging cable.
  • Indicator Lights: Small LEDs indicating status (e.g., power, network, GPS).

5. Setup

5.1. SIM Card Installation

  1. Using the provided screwdriver, carefully open the SIM card slot cover on the side of the device.
  2. Insert a Nano-SIM card (not included) into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly. Ensure the SIM card has sufficient credit and data plan for 4G/3G/2G network connectivity.
  3. Close the SIM card slot cover securely and tighten the screw.

5.2. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device.

  1. Connect the magnetic USB cable to the charging contacts on the device.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended) or a computer USB port.
  3. The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

5.3. Initial Power On and App Setup

  1. After inserting the SIM card and charging, press and hold the power button (if available, otherwise the SOS button for a few seconds) until the indicator lights turn on.
  2. Download the official tracking application (e.g., "ReachFar" or similar, as indicated in the user manual provided with the product) from your smartphone's app store (iOS/Android) or access the web platform.
  3. Register an account and add your device using its unique ID number (usually found on the device or packaging).
  4. Configure emergency contacts, speed dial numbers, and other settings within the app/platform.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Real-Time Tracking

The device provides real-time location tracking using GPS, Beidou, LBS, and Wi-Fi. You can view the device's current location and historical routes through the dedicated mobile application or web platform.

6.2. Two-Way Voice Communication

The device supports two-way voice calls with pre-set numbers. This allows the user to communicate with designated contacts.

6.3. SOS Emergency Alarm

In an emergency, press and hold the large SOS button for 3 seconds. The device will automatically dial pre-set emergency contacts sequentially until one answers. It will also send an SOS alert message to all designated contacts.

6.4. Speed Dial

The device has two programmable speed dial buttons (1 and 2). These can be configured via the app to call specific contacts quickly.

  • To make a speed dial call, press and hold the desired button (1 or 2) for 3 seconds.
  • The device will dial the assigned contact.

6.5. Geo-Fencing (Safety Zone)

Set up virtual boundaries (geo-fences) on the map using the mobile app or web platform. When the device enters or exits a defined safety zone, an alert will be sent to monitoring contacts.

6.6. Auto Fall Alarm

The device is equipped with a fall detection sensor. If a fall is detected, an automatic alarm will be sent to pre-set emergency numbers via calling, SMS, or mobile application notification.

6.7. Battery Modes and Power Saving

The device offers multiple positioning modes to optimize battery life:

  • 1 Minute Fast Positioning: Uploads location every 60 seconds.
  • 10 Minute Standard Positioning: Uploads location every 10 minutes.
  • 1 Hour Power Saving Positioning: Uploads location every 1 hour.
  • 12 Hour Power Saving Positioning: Uploads location every 12 hours.

These settings can be adjusted via the mobile application or web platform to suit your usage needs and extend battery life.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge it regularly. If storing for a long period, charge it to about 50% and recharge every few months.
  • Water Resistance: The device is IP67 waterproof, meaning it can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Ensure the SIM card slot cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance. Avoid exposing it to strong water jets or hot water.

8. Troubleshooting
