3.3. Water Resistance (WR 30M)

Image 3.1: The FOXBOX FB0007A watch shown with water splashes, indicating its water resistance.
This watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) of water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports where it might be submerged for extended periods or exposed to high-pressure water.
- Do not operate buttons or the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.
- Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the seals.
4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning
Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For the metal band and case, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2. Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a quartz battery. When the digital display fades or the analog hands stop, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
4.3. Storage
When not in use, store the watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original watch box is ideal for storage.
5. Troubleshooting
- Analog hands not moving: Check if the crown is pushed in completely. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Digital display blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons not responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not feature one). If the issue persists, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be required.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
