Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Before first use, wash the pitcher, reusable filter basket, and funnel with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Place: Position the Iced Tea and Coffee Maker on a stable, flat surface near an electrical outlet.
4. Prepare Pitcher: Place the 3-quart pitcher on the appliance's base. If making iced beverages, fill the pitcher with ice up to the indicated ice line.
5. Add Water: Fill the pitcher with cold water up to the water line indicated on the pitcher. Pour this water into the water reservoir located at the back of the main unit. Ensure not to exceed the MAX fill line in the reservoir.
6. Insert Filter: Place the reusable filter basket into the brewing chamber.

Operating Instructions

1. Add Ingredients: Add your desired amount of ground coffee, tea bags, or loose leaf tea into the reusable filter basket. Adjust quantity based on desired strength.
2. Adjust Brew Strength: Use the strength control slider on the front of the unit to select your preferred brew intensity. Slide to the right for stronger brew, and to the left for milder.
3. Start Brewing: Close the lid of the brewing chamber. Plug the appliance into a 120-volt AC electrical outlet. Press the 'Brew' button to start the brewing cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
4. Automatic Shut-off: The appliance will automatically shut off once the brewing cycle is complete (approximately 8-10 minutes).
5. Serve: Carefully remove the pitcher from the base. The brewed beverage is now ready to serve.
