1. Introduction

The HIBREW H2B 5-in-1 Pod Coffee Maker is a versatile appliance designed to brew a variety of coffee beverages. This machine is compatible with multiple coffee capsule types and espresso powder, offering both hot and cold brewing modes. 3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Before first use, wash the water reservoir, drip tray, and all adapters with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

3.2 Filling the Water Reservoir

1. Ensure the machine is unplugged.
2. Remove the 20 oz BPA-free water reservoir from the back of the unit.
3. Fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water up to the 'MAX' line.
4. Place the reservoir back securely onto the machine.

3.3 Power Connection

Plug the coffee maker into a standard 110~120 volts, 60Hz AC outlet.

3.4 Initial Priming (First Use)

Before brewing coffee for the first time, it is recommended to run a cycle with just water to prime the system. Insert an empty adapter (without coffee), select a large cup size, and run a hot brew cycle. Discard the hot water.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Choosing Your Coffee Type

The HIBREW H2B is compatible with 5 different coffee types:

• Kcup* Pods
• Nes* Capsules (Nespresso Original)
• DG* Capsules (Dolce Gusto)
• E.S.E. Pods
• Espresso Powder

Select the appropriate adapter for your chosen coffee type and insert it into the machine's brewing chamber.

4.2 Brewing Process

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the correct adapter with coffee is inserted.
2. Place your cup (recommended 6-8 oz, max 3.8" height) on the drip tray.
3. Press the power button to turn on the machine.
4. Select your desired brewing mode (Hot or Cold) and volume using the LED indicator.
5. Press the brew button to start. The machine will preheat for approximately 35 seconds in Hot Mode.
6. Your coffee will be brewed with 19 Bar pressure for optimal extraction.

4.3 Hot and Cold Brew Modes

The H2B offers both hot and cold brewing options:

• Hot Brew: Add room temperature water. Requires about 35 seconds preheating.
• Cold Brew: Add water with ice cubes. Immediate availability without preheating.

4.4 Volume Selection

The LED bar indicator allows you to adjust the brewing volume. Match the LED bars to the bars on your DG* capsule or select your preferred volume for other coffee types. There are 7 preset brewing times/levels.

4.5 Cup Size Recommendation

A 6 oz to 8 oz coffee cup is recommended. Mugs or travel tumblers higher than 3.8 inches cannot be used with this compact coffee machine. Please measure your cup before use.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Regularly clean the water reservoir, drip tray, and all adapters with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
• The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning of spilled coffee or water.
• The machine is not dishwasher safe.

5.2 Energy Saving & Anti-dry Protection

The coffee maker will automatically shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity to save energy. The anti-dry function protects machine components and ensures safe extraction. Always ensure there is water in the reservoir before brewing.

6. Troubleshooting

• No coffee dispenses: Check if the water reservoir is filled and correctly seated. Ensure the coffee pod/powder adapter is properly inserted and the handle is fully pressed down.
• Coffee is not hot enough: Verify the machine is in Hot Mode and has completed its preheating cycle (approx. 35 seconds).
• Machine is noisy: Some noise during the 19 Bar pressure extraction is normal. If the noise is excessive or unusual, ensure all components are correctly assembled.
• Small coffee output: Check the selected brewing volume on the LED indicator. Ensure the pod is not clogged.
• Machine does not turn on: Verify the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
