4.2 Account Registration and Login

1. Register: If you do not have an account, click "Create New Account". Agree to the Privacy Policy and enter your mobile number or email address to register.
2. Log In: If you already have an account, click "Log in with existing account". Select your Country/Region, enter your registered mobile number or email, and password. You can also log in using social media accounts like WeChat or QQ if installed on your phone.

4.3 Device Pairing (2.4GHz Wi-Fi ONLY)

Ensure your mobile phone and the camera are connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.

1. Power on the camera.
2. Open the Smart Life/Tuya App and click the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your device type (e.g., Security Camera).
4. Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password.
5. The app will generate a QR code. Present this QR code to the camera lens at a distance of approximately 10-20 cm (4-8 inches) until you hear a confirmation sound.

4.4 Mounting Options

The camera can be placed on a flat surface (tabletop) or mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included screws.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control

From the app's home screen, select your camera to access the live view. You can control the camera's movement:

• Pan (Horizontal): Rotate the camera 355° horizontally.
• Tilt (Vertical): Adjust the camera 90° vertically.

Use the directional controls within the app to adjust the viewing angle.

Additionally, when viewing real-time video in the app, you will not receive alarms from the camera being viewed, as the device assumes you are actively monitoring.

Q: Failed to add device during network pairing?

A: Please ensure your mobile phone and device are connected to a 2.4GHz router. Verify that the correct Wi-Fi password is entered. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Q: Still failed to add device after re-scanning?

A: If adding the device fails, it is recommended to restart the device or power cycle it, then try the pairing process again.

Q: The device cannot preview?

A: Check for a weak Wi-Fi signal. Try placing the camera closer to your router. If the issue persists, reset the device and add it again through the app.

Q: Why is the device still on the list after resetting the device?

A: Resetting the device only resets the camera's network configuration. It does not change the configuration within the app. You must log into the app and manually delete the camera from your device list.

Q: How to connect the camera to another router?

A: First, log into the app to delete the device. Then, reset the camera and configure it again through the app, connecting it to the new router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

Q: Why can't the device identify the SD card?

A: It is recommended to insert and remove the SD card only after powering off the device. Check if the SD card is in normal working condition and formatted to FAT32. An unstable network connection on your mobile phone or the device can also sometimes cause this message.
