4.1. Base Bracket Assembly

Begin by assembling the main base structure of the chassis. This involves attaching the side covers, front cover, back cover, and reinforcing plate to the base plate using the provided M3*6 round head machine screws.

4.2. Top Bracket Assembly

Next, assemble the top bracket. This involves securing the side covers to the top plate using the appropriate screws. Ensure all connections are firm.

4.3. Wheel Assembly

Attach the wheels to the chassis. Each wheel requires an M6*45 round head machine screw and a nylon column. Insert the screw through the wheel, then through the nylon column, and secure it to the chassis frame. Repeat for all ten wheels.

4.4. Motor Assembly

Mount the two encoder geared motors to the designated positions on the chassis. Use the M3*6 round head machine screws to secure them firmly.

4.5. Gear Assembly

Assemble the gears by attaching them to the couplings and copper columns. These will connect to the motor shafts and drive the tracks.

4.6. Track Installation

Carefully install the plastic particle tracks around the wheels and gears. Ensure the tracks are properly aligned and tensioned for smooth operation.

5. Operating Instructions

The DPC-XGL2 chassis is designed for integration with various control systems. Below are general guidelines and demonstrations of its capabilities.

5.1. Connecting to a Controller

The chassis features multiple expansion ports compatible with popular controllers like Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino. Refer to the control connection diagram for proper wiring.
