Setup Instructions
1. Battery Installation
The trash can requires 2 AA batteries (not included) for the motion sensor to function.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lid.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Trash Bag Installation
Use the provided trash bag fix ring to secure the garbage bag neatly inside the can.
- Remove the lid from the trash can body.
- Place a trash bag over the trash bag fix ring, wrapping the edges around it.
- Insert the ring with the secured trash bag into the main body of the trash can. Ensure the bag is fully extended to the bottom and the ring rests on the internal ledges.
- Replace the lid securely on the trash can body.
Operating Instructions
Motion Sensor Operation
The trash can features an infrared motion sensor for hands-free operation, promoting hygiene and convenience.
- To open the lid, simply wave your hand approximately 4-6 inches above the sensor located on the front of the lid.
- The lid will open automatically and silently.
- The lid will remain open as long as your hand or an object is detected by the sensor.
- After 5 seconds of no motion detection, the lid will close automatically and silently.
