7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your DEZIN Electric Hot Pot, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Appliance not turning on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the appliance and a working electrical outlet.
- Check if the control knob is turned to either 'I' (250W) or 'II' (600W) setting.
- Food not heating sufficiently:
- Ensure the correct power setting is selected for your cooking needs. Use 'II' (600W) for faster heating.
- Verify that the lid is properly placed to retain heat.
- Food sticking to the pot:
- Although the pot has a non-stick coating, always use a small amount of oil or butter when sautéing or frying.
- Avoid using metal utensils that can damage the non-stick surface. Use the provided silicone spatula or other non-abrasive utensils.
- Appliance automatically shuts off:
- This is a safety feature (overheating protection or boil-dry protection). If the pot runs out of liquid or becomes too hot, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the appliance, allow it to cool, and add more liquid if necessary before restarting.
If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
