Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB cable to the keyboard's charging port and a power source. A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours and provides up to 150 days of standby time.

Connecting to iPad (1s Start-up)

The Inateck Keyboard Case features a smart 1-second start-up. Simply attach your iPad to the case, and the keyboard will automatically power on and connect. There is no physical power switch required, making it effortless and power-saving.

Operating Instructions

Smart Screen On/Off

The case intelligently manages your iPad's screen. Opening the case will wake up your iPad, and closing it will put your iPad to sleep, conserving battery life.

Pen Holder

The keyboard case includes a convenient PU pen holder, allowing you to securely store your Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and facilitating magnetic charging without needing to remove the Pencil from the holder. Note: Apple Pencil is not included.

Convenient Shortcut Keys

The keyboard features an additional row of function keys for quick access to common iPad functions, enhancing your productivity without complex key combinations. Keycaps are 15mm x 15mm for comfortable typing.

Maintenance

Anti-fingerprint Case

The case material is designed to resist fingerprints, keeping your keyboard case looking clean. For general cleaning, gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

Bluetooth Connectivity Issues

If the keyboard does not connect automatically or experiences frequent disconnections:

1. Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged.
2. Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad.
3. Go to iPad Settings > Bluetooth and forget the "Inateck Keyboard" device if it's listed.
4. To perform a factory reset on the keyboard and re-initiate pairing, press and hold the Esc key and the += key simultaneously for approximately 15-20 seconds until the keyboard's indicator light flashes, indicating it's in pairing mode.
5. Reconnect the keyboard via your iPad's Bluetooth settings.

If issues persist, ensure your iPad's operating system is up to date.
