2. Product Compatibility

Additionally, for successful pairing and operation, your original remote control must be identical in appearance and button layout to this replacement remote. If your original remote or control box model differs, this replacement remote may not be compatible.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

4.2 Pairing Instructions
Before using the remote, it must be paired with your adjustable bed base's CU155+ control box. Refer to your original bed base manual for specific pairing instructions if available. The general pairing method is as follows:
- Step 1: Ensure the remote batteries are functioning correctly. Replace them if necessary.
- Step 2: Ensure the power cord of your adjustable bed base is securely plugged into a powered electrical outlet.
- Step 3: On the remote control, simultaneously press and hold the HEAD Up button and the FOOT Up button.
- Step 4: While still holding the HEAD Up and FOOT Up buttons on the remote, also press and hold the blue button located on the control box cord of your bed base.
- Step 5: Continue holding all three buttons until you hear two (2) beeps from the control box. This indicates that the remote is now successfully paired.
If pairing is unsuccessful, ensure all connections are secure and repeat the steps. If issues persist, consult the troubleshooting section.
5. Operating Instructions
Once paired, the remote control allows you to adjust the positions of your adjustable bed base. The remote features intuitive buttons for various movements:

- Head Up / Head Down: Buttons with an icon of a person sitting up or lying down with an arrow pointing up or down. These control the elevation or lowering of the head section of the bed.
- Foot Up / Foot Down: Buttons with an icon of a person with legs raised or lowered with an arrow pointing up or down. These control the elevation or lowering of the foot section of the bed.
- Combined Head & Foot Up / Down: Buttons with icons showing both head and foot sections moving simultaneously up or down. These adjust both sections together.
- Flat Position: A button (often with an icon of a person lying flat) that returns the bed to a completely flat position.
- Flashlight: A button with a flashlight icon. Press this button to activate the built-in flashlight for convenience in low-light conditions.
To operate, simply press and hold the desired button until the bed reaches the preferred position. Release the button to stop movement.
