Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Anti-Tipping Device: For safety, it is highly recommended to install the included anti-tipping device on the wall to prevent accidental tipping, especially in households with children or pets.
  • Weight Capacity: The P2 board top has a maximum weight capacity of 55 lbs (25 kg). Each fabric drawer can support up to 15 lbs (6.8 kg). Do not exceed these limits.
  • Stable Placement: Place the storage tower on a flat, level surface. Ensure all leveling feet are properly adjusted for maximum stability.
  • Children's Safety: Do not allow children to climb on or play with the storage tower. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.

Assembly Instructions (Setup)

Assembly typically takes approximately 30 minutes. A screwdriver may be required (not always included).

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Follow the detailed diagrams in the included instruction booklet to connect the steel frame components using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Attach P2 Board Top: Secure the P2 board top to the assembled steel frame.
  4. Install Leveling Feet: Screw the adjustable leveling feet into the bottom of the frame. Adjust them to ensure the unit is stable and level on your chosen surface.
  5. Prepare Fabric Drawers: Unfold each fabric bin and insert the bottom support panel to create a rigid structure.
  6. Insert Drawers: Place the prepared fabric drawers into their designated slots within the frame. The unit includes 3 small fabric bins (11.8"W x 10.8"D x 8.3"H) and 8 large fabric bins (18.1"W x 10.8"D x 8.3"H).
  7. Install Anti-Tipping Device: For maximum safety, attach the anti-tipping device to the back of the storage tower and secure it to a wall stud according to the instructions.

The CAPHAUS 11-Drawer Fabric Storage Tower is designed for versatile organization in various settings.

  • Storage: Utilize the multi-sized fabric drawers for organizing clothes, toys, linens, office supplies, or other household items.
  • Top Surface: The P2 board top can be used to display decorative items, lamps, or store frequently accessed items, adhering to the 55 lb weight limit.
  • Drawer Operation: The fabric drawers feature user-friendly handles for effortless pulling and closing.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the P2 board top with a damp cloth. The fabric drawers can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and air-dried. Do not machine wash.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
  • Fabric Care: The non-woven fabric drawers are designed to be wear-resistant. Avoid overloading drawers to maintain their shape and longevity.

Troubleshooting

  • Unit is Wobbly:
    • Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened.
    • Adjust the leveling feet on the bottom of the unit until it is stable on the floor.
    • Verify the anti-tipping device is properly installed and secured to the wall.
  • Drawers Do Not Slide Smoothly:
    • Check if the drawers are overloaded. Reduce the weight if necessary.
    • Ensure the bottom support panel is correctly inserted and fully extended within each fabric bin.
    • Verify the frame is not warped or bent.
