6.2. General Care

  • Clean the console and controller regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Keep the console free from dust and debris, especially around ventilation areas.
  • Store the console in a cool, dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Hard Drive Not Detected / "No games found"

  • Solution: Ensure the 4TB hard disk is securely connected to the console's SATA port before plugging in the power adapter. If the console was powered on first, power it off completely, connect the hard drive, and then power it back on.
  • Check Connection: Verify that the hard drive is fully inserted into its slot.

7.2. Controller Issues

  • Solution: Many emulators, especially for PS2, Dreamcast, and N64, require the controller to be in Android mode. For GameSir controllers, turn off the controller, then hold 'A' and press the 'Power' button for 5 seconds to turn it back on. The lights should turn blue/purple.
  • Pairing: Ensure the wireless dongle is properly connected to the console and the controller is correctly paired. For multiple controllers, ensure each has its own dongle and is paired individually.
  • Button Mapping: If specific game controls feel off, check the in-emulator settings for button remapping.

7.3. Input Lag / Performance Issues

  • Solution: Ensure the console has adequate ventilation. The built-in cooling fan helps maintain optimal chip temperature.
  • Game Specific: Some demanding 3D games, particularly from PS2, might experience occasional frame rate drops or input lag depending on the game's optimization for emulation.
  • Network Interference: If experiencing lag in online games (if applicable), ensure a stable network connection, preferably via Ethernet.
