6. Troubleshooting
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if the issue persists. Ensure proper placement on the sensor.
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels. If batteries are low or depleted, use the Type-C emergency power port or the mechanical key.
- Auto-lock behavior: The auto-lock feature is either on or off. If turned off, the lock will not engage automatically or manually via keypad/fingerprint. If you require the door to remain unlocked for a period, you must keep it physically open or unlock it each time.
- Cannot manually lock from inside: This model does not feature a manual lock button on the interior. Twisting the interior handle will always open the door, regardless of its locked status. To secure the door from the inside, ensure the auto-lock feature is enabled or use the app to lock it.
- Lock relocks too quickly: The lock is designed to relock instantly (1-2 seconds) after unlocking. There is no option to extend this time. If you need to make multiple trips, you must either keep the door physically open or unlock it each time.
- Keypad unresponsive: Ensure the touchscreen is awake by placing a finger on it. If still unresponsive, check battery levels.
