To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KUCACCI WiFi G2 Gateway, consider the following:
- Keep the device in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected and free from damage.
- Periodically check for firmware updates through the TTLock app to benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your G2 Gateway, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Gateway Not Connecting to WiFi:
- Ensure your phone and the gateway are on the same 2.4GHz WiFi network during setup.
- Verify the WiFi password entered in the TTLock app is correct.
- Check your router settings to ensure it supports 2.4GHz and that there are no MAC address filtering restrictions.
- Indicator Light is Red:
- A red light indicates a network failure. Check your WiFi router and internet connection.
- Restart the gateway by unplugging and re-plugging it.
- Cannot Control Lock Remotely:
- Ensure the distance between the gateway and the smart door lock is no more than 32 feet (10 meters). Obstructions like thick walls can reduce signal strength.
- Confirm that both the gateway and the smart lock are properly paired within the TTLock app.
- Verify your home internet connection is active.
- Voice Control Not Working:
- Ensure your TTLock account is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home account.
- Check that your smart speaker is connected to the internet and functioning correctly.
- Use the exact voice commands specified in the Alexa or Google Home app for your smart lock.
