Operating Instructions
Your Brabrety Daybed is designed for versatile use, offering both sleeping and storage solutions.
- Using the Trundle Bed: The trundle bed is located beneath the main daybed. To use, gently pull the trundle frame outwards from the front of the daybed. It is equipped with wheels for smooth movement. To store, push the trundle back into its position under the main bed.
- Utilizing Storage Cabinets: The daybed features double-layer storage shelves integrated into the headboard and side. These can be used to store books, personal items, or decorative pieces. Ensure items are placed securely to prevent them from falling.
- Using USB Charging Ports: The integrated USB charging station allows you to power or charge electronic devices. Simply plug your device's USB cable into the available ports. Ensure the daybed is connected to a power source for the USB ports to function.

Maintenance and Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your daybed.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wood finish.
- Wood Care: Protect the wood from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes to prevent warping or cracking. Periodically check and tighten all hardware to ensure stability.
- Weight Capacity: Adhere to the specified weight capacities: 400 lbs for the upper bed and 250 lbs for the trundle bed. Exceeding these limits can compromise the bed's structural integrity.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Brabrety Daybed, refer to the following common solutions:
- Assembly Difficulties: If assembly instructions seem unclear, re-read each step carefully and refer to the diagrams. Ensure all parts are correctly oriented before tightening screws. If parts do not fit, double-check part numbers against the manual.
- Instability/Wobbling: Check all bolts and screws to ensure they are securely tightened. Uneven flooring can also cause wobbling; consider using furniture pads to level the bed.
- Wood Cracking/Damage: While the bed is made of durable materials, wood can be susceptible to cracking if screws are overtightened or if exposed to extreme conditions. If minor cracks appear, contact customer service for advice. Avoid applying excessive force during assembly.
- USB Ports Not Working: Ensure the daybed's power cord is properly plugged into a functional wall outlet. Check for any loose connections at the USB hub itself.
