5. Installation and Setup
Before installation, ensure the power is disconnected at the circuit breaker.
5.1 Choosing a Mounting Location
Select a location that can structurally support the fan's weight and allows for adequate clearance around the fan blades. The fan can be mounted on a wall or suspended from a ceiling structure.

Figure 5.1: Illustration of the two available suspension options: traditional wall mount (left) and hanging mount (right), demonstrating how the bracket can be oriented.
5.2 Mounting the Bracket
- Position the mounting bracket at the desired location.
- Mark the drill holes using the bracket as a template.
- Drill pilot holes and insert appropriate wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure the mounting bracket firmly to the wall or ceiling structure using the provided screws.
5.3 Attaching the Fan Unit
- Carefully lift the fan unit and align it with the mounting bracket.
- Secure the fan unit to the bracket using the designated fasteners. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
5.4 Electrical Connection
This fan is a plug-in unit. Ensure the power cord is routed safely and securely to an accessible power outlet. Do not use extension cords unless absolutely necessary, and ensure they are rated for the fan's power requirements.
5.5 Installing Light Bulbs
Screw four E26 base bulbs (not included) into the light sockets on the fan unit. Do not overtighten. Ensure the bulbs are compatible with the fan's electrical specifications.
6. Operating Instructions
The fan is operated using the included remote control.
6.1 Remote Control Functions
- Power On/Off: Turns the fan and lights on or off.
- Fan Speed: Adjusts between 6 wind speeds. Press repeatedly to cycle through speeds.
- Light On/Off: Controls the light function independently.
- Timer: Sets the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 2, or 4 hours.
- Reversible Wind: Changes the direction of the fan blades for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow to circulate warm air).

Figure 6.1: Visual representation of the 6 wind speeds: Soft Wind (Speeds 1-2), Natural Wind (Speeds 3-4), and Strong Wind (Speeds 5-6).
6.2 Adjusting Fan Angle
The fan unit offers 360° rotation and tilting. Loosen the adjustment knobs on the side of the fan, manually position the fan to the desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure it. This allows for directing airflow precisely where needed.

Figure 6.2: Demonstrates the fan's 360° rotation and manual adjustable angle, showing various orientations for optimal airflow.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your fan. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
7.1 Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan and light fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Fan Blades: Carefully wipe dust from the fan blades. Ensure the fan is completely stationary before cleaning.
- Light Sockets: Ensure power is off and bulbs are cool before cleaning around the sockets.
7.2 Bulb Replacement
Ensure the power is off and bulbs are cool before attempting to replace them. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E26 base bulb of the appropriate wattage.
8. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
