3.2 IR Night Vision & Color Night Vision
Equipped with two infrared LED lights, the camera extends night vision capabilities up to 30 meters (100 ft). Additionally, two built-in 3000K warm lights provide adjustable brightness for clear vision in both black and white infrared mode and vivid color night vision, regardless of lighting conditions.

3.3 Upgraded Design: IK10 Vandal Resistance & IP67 Weatherproof
This metal-armored camera features IK10 vandal resistance, built to withstand impacts and extreme weather conditions. The IP67 rating ensures protection against dust and water immersion. The new swivel bracket allows for easy manual adjustments to achieve the perfect angle (note: no Pan & Tilt functionality).

3.4 Smart Detection
The PoE security camera system intelligently detects movements from people, vehicles, and animals. It sends alerts (app push, email, NVR buzzer) only when genuine threats are identified, reducing false alarms. All recordings are securely uploaded to FTP, and filtering options simplify footage retrieval.

3.5 24/7 Recording with Built-in 2TB HDD
The NVR comes with a built-in 2TB HDD, providing ample storage for continuous 24/7 recording. The system supports expansion up to 16TB for extended recording periods.

3.6 Deterrents Against Intruders & 2-Way Talk
The system provides multiple warning options for security, including siren, app push notifications, email alerts, and NVR buzzer. The cameras also support two-way talk, allowing you to communicate with visitors or deter intruders directly through the camera.

4. Setup
Setting up your REOLINK 4K Security Camera System is designed to be straightforward with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology.
4.1 Easy PoE Connection
Enjoy effortless installation with a single PoE network cable that provides both power and network connectivity to each camera. This simplifies wiring and allows for flexible camera placement. The system is compatible with Reolink PoE cameras and Reolink WiFi wired cameras (not battery-powered), allowing you to expand your security system with up to 12 cameras.

4.2 System Components and Connections
Familiarize yourself with the camera and NVR components and their respective connection points:

- Connect Cameras to NVR: Use the provided 18m network cables to connect each V800 camera to the PoE ports on the back of the RLN8-410 NVR.
- Connect NVR to Power: Plug the NVR Power Adapter into the NVR's DC input and then into a power outlet.
- Connect NVR to Monitor: Use the HDMI cable to connect the NVR to a monitor or TV for local viewing. Alternatively, use the VGA port.
- Connect NVR to Network: Use the 1m network cable to connect the NVR's LAN port to your router for internet access, enabling remote viewing and alerts.
- Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the NVR's USB ports for navigation and control.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts on the connected monitor to complete the initial setup, including setting up passwords and network configurations.

5. Operation
Once your system is set up, you can begin monitoring and managing your security feeds.
- Live View: Access live feeds from all connected cameras via the NVR connected to a monitor, or remotely through the Reolink App on your smartphone/tablet or Reolink Client software on your computer.
- Playback: Review recorded footage stored on the 2TB HDD. Use the timeline and smart detection filters to quickly find specific events.
- Smart Alerts: Configure push notifications, email alerts, and NVR buzzer sounds for person, vehicle, or animal detection events.
- Two-Way Talk: Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker on the cameras to listen in or speak through the camera from your remote device.
- System Expansion: The NVR supports up to 8 channels, allowing you to add more compatible Reolink cameras to expand your surveillance coverage.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your security system.
- Clean Lenses: Periodically clean camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and smudges that may affect image clarity.
- Check Connections: Ensure all network cables and power connections are secure and free from damage.
- Firmware Updates: Check the Reolink website or app for available firmware updates for your NVR and cameras. Keeping firmware updated ensures improved performance, new features, and security enhancements.
- HDD Health: Monitor the health of the 2TB HDD through the NVR settings to prevent data loss.
