Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

2. SIM Card Insertion

• Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:

  This camera is designed to operate using a 3G/4G LTE SIM card and does not require a Wi-Fi connection for its primary operation. Ensure you have an active SIM card with a data plan inserted. The camera connects to the internet via cellular data, not Wi-Fi. The XIAOVV App on your smartphone will use your phone's internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) to communicate with the camera.

• App connection issues:

  Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection. Verify that you have downloaded the official XIAOVV App. If you encounter issues with QR code scanning, try manual pairing if the app offers it. Ensure you are using the correct app version for your region and follow all setup prompts carefully.

• Battery not charging or low battery:

  Ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight for several hours daily. If the camera is in a shaded area, consider relocating it or manually charging the battery via USB. Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance.
• Poor night vision quality:

  Clean the camera lens to remove any dust or smudges. Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the camera that could reflect infrared light back into the lens.

• Motion detection not working:

  Check the motion detection settings in the XIAOVV App to ensure it is enabled and sensitivity is adjusted appropriately. Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the PIR sensor.
