Setup

Initial Charge:

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your Dyson V8 Plus. Connect the charger to the wall docking station or directly to the vacuum's charging port. The battery indicator lights will show charging progress.

Assembly:

1. Attach the wand to the main body of the vacuum until it clicks securely into place.
2. Select your desired cleaner head or accessory and attach it to the end of the wand or directly to the main body for handheld use. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. For convenient storage and charging, install the wall docking station in a suitable location near a power outlet. Use appropriate fasteners for your wall type.

Operating Instructions

Power Modes:

The Dyson V8 Plus features two power modes to suit different cleaning needs:

• Powerful Mode: Provides the optimal balance of power and run time for everyday cleaning tasks.
• MAX Mode: Offers increased suction for intensive spot cleaning or stubborn dirt. Activate by sliding the switch on the top of the main body.

Using Attachments:

Select the appropriate attachment for the surface you are cleaning:

• Motorbar™ Cleaner Head: Ideal for deep cleaning both carpets and hard floors. Its de-tangling technology prevents hair wrap.
• Hair Screw Tool: Specifically designed for removing long hair and pet hair from upholstery, pet beds, and stairs. Its conical brush bar minimizes tangles.
• Crevice Tool: Perfect for reaching narrow gaps, edges, and tight spaces.
• Mini Soft Dusting Brush: Use for gentle dusting on delicate surfaces like blinds, shelves, and electronics.

Maintenance

Emptying the Bin:

Empty the clear bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX level. To empty, hold the vacuum over a trash can, push the red lever down to release the bin flap, and the dirt will fall out. Push the flap back up until it clicks to close.

Washing the Filter:

For optimal performance, wash the filter at least once a month. Twist the filter counter-clockwise to remove it from the top of the main body. Wash under cold tap water until the water runs clear. Squeeze and tap to remove excess water. Allow to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use a washing machine or dryer.

Cleaning the Motorbar™ Cleaner Head:

Periodically check the cleaner head for blockages or debris. The de-tangling vanes help, but occasional manual removal of tangled hair may be necessary. Refer to the included quick-start guide for detailed instructions on removing the brush bar for cleaning.
