1. Safety Information

Read all instructions carefully before assembly and use of the Cybex EOS Basic Travel System Aton B2. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury to your child.

• This product is not suitable for jogging or rollerblading.

• Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.

2. Product Overview

The Cybex EOS Basic Travel System Aton B2 is a versatile solution designed for the safe and comfortable transport of your child from infancy through toddlerhood. It includes a stroller frame, a convertible seat unit (which can be used as a bassinet or toddler seat), and an Aton B2 infant car seat.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Stroller Frame Assembly

1. Unfold the Frame: Release the folding latch and lift the handlebar until the frame locks into place. Ensure both sides are securely locked.
2. Attach Rear Wheels: Slide the rear wheels onto the axle until they click into position. Pull on the wheels to ensure they are securely attached.
3. Attach Front Wheels: Insert the front wheel units into the designated slots on the front of the frame until they click. Verify secure attachment.

3.2 Attaching the Seat Unit / Bassinet

1. Align the connectors on the seat unit or bassinet with the mounting points on the stroller frame.
2. Press down firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is securely attached.
3. To reverse the seat direction, press the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit and lift, then reattach in the desired orientation.

3.3 Attaching the Aton B2 Infant Car Seat

To attach the Aton B2 infant car seat, you will need the included car seat adapters.

1. Insert the car seat adapters into the mounting points on the stroller frame until they click securely.
2. Place the Aton B2 infant car seat onto the adapters, ensuring it clicks into place on both sides.
3. Always check that the car seat is firmly attached by lifting it slightly before placing your child inside.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Handlebar Adjustment

Press the buttons on either side of the handlebar and adjust it to your desired height. Release the buttons to lock the handlebar in position.

4.2 Reclining the Seat

To recline the seat, locate the recline lever or button on the back of the seat unit. Press and hold the lever/button while adjusting the seat to the desired recline position. Release to lock.

4.3 Harness Adjustment

The 3-point harness should be adjusted to fit snugly around your child without being too tight. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height for your child's shoulders. Fasten the buckle securely.

4.4 Braking System

Engage the brake by pressing down on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels. Ensure the stroller is stationary before releasing your grip. Disengage the brake by lifting the pedal.

4.5 Folding and Unfolding

To fold the stroller, ensure the seat is in an upright position and the canopy is retracted. Follow the specific folding mechanism instructions (usually involving pressing release buttons and pushing the handlebar forward or down). The stroller should lock into a compact folded position.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Fabric Components

• Refer to the care label on the fabric for specific washing instructions.
• Most fabric covers can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and cold water.
• Allow fabric to air dry completely before reattaching or folding.

5.2 Cleaning Frame and Wheels

• Wipe the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
• Clean wheels regularly to remove dirt and debris. Lubricate moving parts with a silicone-based spray if necessary.

5.3 Storage

Store the travel system in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is clean and dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Stroller Not Folding/Unfolding Smoothly

• Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
• Ensure the seat is in the correct position (usually upright) before attempting to fold.
• Lubricate moving parts if they feel stiff.

6.2 Wheels Squeaking or Sticking

• Clean any dirt or debris from the wheel axles and bearings.
• Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the wheel axles.

6.3 Car Seat Not Attaching Securely

• Ensure the car seat adapters are correctly installed and fully clicked into the stroller frame.
• Verify that the car seat is aligned properly with the adapters before pressing down.
• Check for any damage to the car seat or adapter connectors.
