2. Product Overview and Components

The WOCKODER R608 is equipped with various features for a complete audio experience. Familiarize yourself with the components:

  • Turntable Unit R608: The main record player unit.
  • Power Adapter (DC 5V 1000mA): For powering the unit. Use only the original adapter.
  • 45 RPM Adapter: For playing 7-inch vinyl records.

3. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive vibration.
  3. Dust Cover: Attach the detachable dust cover to protect the platter and stylus.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V 1000mA port on the back of the turntable and plug it into a wall outlet.
  5. Initial Power On: Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to power on the unit. The power indicator light will illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Select Speed: Adjust the LP Speed Switch to match the RPM of your record (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM). Use the 45 RPM adapter for 7-inch singles.
  2. Place Record: Carefully place the vinyl record on the turntable platter.
  3. Unlock Tone Arm: Release the tone arm clip.
  4. Raise Tone Arm: Use the tone arm raise lever to lift the tone arm.
  5. Position Stylus: Gently move the tone arm over the desired starting groove of the record.
  6. Lower Tone Arm: Slowly lower the tone arm using the raise lever. The stylus will make contact with the record, and playback will begin.
  7. Adjust Volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob to adjust the listening volume.
  8. Auto Stop: If the Auto Stop Switch is ON, the platter will stop spinning automatically when the record finishes. If OFF, the platter will continue to spin.
  9. End Playback: At the end of the record, or when you wish to stop, use the tone arm raise lever to lift the tone arm, return it to its rest, and secure it with the clip.

4.2 Bluetooth Wireless Playback

The turntable features a built-in Bluetooth receiver, allowing you to stream music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  1. Power On: Turn on the turntable using the Power/Volume knob.
  2. Activate Bluetooth: The turntable will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The power indicator light may flash to indicate it's ready to pair.
  3. Pair Device: On your external device, enable Bluetooth and search for 'WOCKODER R608' (or similar name). Select it to pair.
  4. Play Music: Once paired, you can play music from your device, and it will output through the turntable's built-in speakers.
  5. Adjust Volume: Control the volume using both your external device and the turntable's Power/Volume knob.

4.3 External Audio Connections

The R608 offers multiple options for connecting to other audio equipment:

  • AUX-IN: Connect an external audio player (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the AUX-IN jack on the back of the turntable using a 3.5mm audio cable. The audio from the external device will play through the turntable's speakers.
  • RCA Line Out: Connect the RCA output jacks (red for right, white for left) on the back of the turntable to an external amplifier or powered speakers using an RCA cable. This allows for louder or higher-fidelity audio output.
  • Headphone Jack: For private listening, plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the front of the unit. The built-in speakers will be muted when headphones are connected.

5. Maintenance
