4. Product Components

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the bottom or side of the device.
- Open the cover by sliding or unscrewing it.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Attaching the Lanyard
Thread the provided lanyard through the designated loop on the rangefinder to prevent accidental drops.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press the Power/Measure button once to turn on the device. The display will activate.
- Auto Power Off: The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
6.2 Adjusting Focus
Rotate the focus ring around the eyepiece until the display and target appear clear and sharp.
6.3 Selecting Measurement Modes
Press the Mode button to cycle through the available measurement modes:
- Continuous Measurement Mode: For scanning multiple targets or a moving target. Press and hold the Power/Measure button.
- Fog Mode: Designed for use in foggy or hazy conditions to improve measurement accuracy.
- Speed Mode: Measures the speed of a moving object.
- Golfing Mode (Flag Lock Mode): Specifically designed for golf, allowing the device to lock onto the flagstick while ignoring background objects.
6.4 Taking Measurements
- Look through the eyepiece and aim the reticle at your desired target.
- Press the Power/Measure button once. The measurement will be displayed on the internal LCD.
- Ensure the target is within the specified measuring range (5-450 meters).

7.1 Cleaning
- Lenses: Gently wipe the lenses with the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use fingers or rough materials, as this can scratch the lens coating.
