The Beetel G20 is a TEC Certified landline phone designed for reliable communication. It features a clear LCD display with adjustable contrast, caller ID functionality, and various user-friendly options for enhanced convenience.

What's in the Box

Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the phone and accessories for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future transport or service needs.

2. Connecting the Phone

  1. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled cord into the handset and the other end into the jack labeled "HANDSET" on the side of the phone base.
  2. Connect to Telephone Line: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack labeled "LINE" on the back of the phone base. Plug the other end into your wall telephone jack.
  3. Power Connection: The Beetel G20 is corded electric and does not require external power adapter or batteries for basic operation. It draws power directly from the telephone line.

3. Desk or Wall Mounting

The Beetel G20 is designed for both desk and wall mounting. For wall mounting, use the integrated wall mount holes on the base of the phone and secure it to a wall using appropriate screws (not included).

Making and Receiving Calls

LCD Display and Contrast Adjustment

The phone features a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that shows caller ID information, date, and time. You can adjust the contrast for optimal visibility.

Caller ID Functionality (DTMF/FSK Compatible)

The G20 supports both DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) and FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) caller ID systems, ensuring compatibility with various telephone networks. Incoming call information (number, date, time) will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Adjustable Handset and Ringer Volume

Music on Hold

The Music on Hold feature allows you to play music for callers when they are placed on hold. This is typically activated by pressing the "HOLD" button during an active call.

Ringer LED Indicator

The phone includes an LED indicator that illuminates when there is an incoming call or message, providing a visual alert in addition to the audible ring.

Mute Function

The mute function allows you to temporarily disable your microphone during a call, so the other party cannot hear you. This is typically a toggle function activated by a "MUTE" button.

Programmable Flash Time

The flash time (the duration of a hook-flash signal) can be programmed to ensure compatibility with different PBX systems or network services. The default setting is 300ms.

Do Not Disturb Function

Activate the Do Not Disturb (DND) function to temporarily silence incoming calls. This feature is useful when you do not wish to be interrupted.
