Installation

Wiring Diagram

Follow the wiring diagram carefully to ensure correct installation:

• Connect the camera's power cable (red wire) to the vehicle's reversing light positive (+).
• Connect the camera's power cable (black wire) to the vehicle's ground (-).
• Connect the yellow RCA video output from the camera to the video input of your display unit.
• If your head unit is an Android unit, locate its trigger wire (usually labeled 'BACK' or 'REVERSE') and connect it to the trigger wire on the video cable.

Mounting

Operation

Signal Mode Switching

The Vtopek P069 camera supports multiple video signal formats. To switch between AHD 1080P, AHD 720P, NTSC, and PAL modes, press and hold the button located on the camera's cable for 3 seconds until the desired mode is displayed on your monitor.

Parking Line Adjustment

By default, the camera displays a reverse line. To disable or enable the parking guidelines, locate the white wire on the camera cable. Cut this white wire to remove the parking lines. To re-enable them, reconnect the wire.

Image Orientation

The camera's image can be inverted (up-down) if needed. Locate the blue wire on the camera cable. Cut this blue wire to invert the image. To revert to the original orientation, reconnect the wire.

Maintenance

• Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure a clear view. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Check all cable connections periodically to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
• Ensure the camera is securely mounted and not loose, especially after driving on rough terrain.

Troubleshooting

• No Image/Black Screen:
  • Check all power and video cable connections. Ensure the camera is receiving power and the video cable is securely connected to the display.
  • Verify the display unit is set to the correct video input channel.
  • If a black screen, blue screen, or stripes appear after connecting the camera, press and hold the camera's mode button until the image normalizes. This cycles through video formats.
• Distorted/Flickering Image:
  • Ensure all connections are tight and free from interference.
  • Check if the video format (NTSC/PAL/AHD) matches your display unit's supported format. Adjust using the mode button if necessary.
• Incorrect Image Orientation:
  • If the image is upside down, cut the blue wire on the camera cable to invert the image. Reconnect to revert.
• Parking Lines Not Appearing/Disappearing:
  • If parking lines are not present or need to be removed, cut the white wire on the camera cable. Reconnect to re-enable.
