4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your chainsaw before first use:
- Install the Guide Bar and Chain:
- Ensure the chainsaw is unplugged.
- Remove the chain cover.
- Place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
- Mount the guide bar onto the studs, aligning the chain with the groove in the guide bar.
- Replace the chain cover and hand-tighten the nuts.
- Adjust Chain Tension:
- The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
- Adjust the tensioning screw until the chain is properly tensioned.
- Tighten the chain cover nuts securely.
- Fill the Oil Reservoir:
- Locate the oil reservoir cap.
- Fill the reservoir with SAE 20 or SAE 30 chainsaw bar and chain oil (not included). The capacity is 120 ml.
- Monitor the oil level through the oil control window during operation.

5. Operating Instructions
Before starting, ensure you have read and understood all safety instructions.
- Starting the Chainsaw:
- Plug the chainsaw into a suitable power outlet (230-240V~/50Hz).
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, one on the main handle and one on the auxiliary handle.
- Engage the safety switch and press the trigger to start the motor.
- Cutting Technique:
- Allow the chain to reach full speed before making contact with the wood.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the chainsaw through the wood.
- Be aware of the direction the wood will fall and clear the area.
- Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar to prevent kickback.
- Stopping the Chainsaw:
- Release the trigger switch.
- The chain brake will automatically engage for rapid stopping.
- Unplug the chainsaw from the power source when finished or when leaving it unattended.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your chainsaw.
- Chain Lubrication: The chainsaw features an automatic lubrication system. Regularly check the oil level via the control window and refill with SAE 20 or SAE 30 bar and chain oil as needed.
- Chain Tension: Periodically check and adjust chain tension. A properly tensioned chain should not sag but should still be able to be moved by hand.
- Chain Sharpening: A dull chain reduces cutting efficiency and increases kickback risk. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary.
- Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the power and clean sawdust, chips, and debris from the guide bar, chain, and motor housing. Use a brush or compressed air.
- Carbon Brush Replacement: The motor uses carbon brushes. These may need replacement after extended use. Consult a qualified technician for this procedure if you are unsure.
- Storage: Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Always use the guide bar cover when storing.

7. Troubleshooting
Before attempting any repairs, ensure the chainsaw is unplugged.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chainsaw does not start | No power supply; Safety switch not engaged; Damaged power cord | Check power connection; Engage safety switch; Inspect power cord for damage and replace if necessary. |
| Chain does not move or moves slowly | Chain tension too tight; Chain dull or damaged; Insufficient lubrication | Adjust chain tension; Sharpen or replace chain; Refill oil reservoir. |
| Excessive vibration | Loose chain; Damaged chain or guide bar | Adjust chain tension; Inspect and replace damaged components. |
| Oil not dispensing | Empty oil reservoir; Clogged oil port | Refill oil reservoir; Clean oil port. |
