4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your chainsaw before first use:

1. Install the Guide Bar and Chain:
   • Ensure the chainsaw is unplugged.
   • Remove the chain cover.
   • Place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
   • Mount the guide bar onto the studs, aligning the chain with the groove in the guide bar.
   • Replace the chain cover and hand-tighten the nuts.
2. Adjust Chain Tension:
   • The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
   • Adjust the tensioning screw until the chain is properly tensioned.
   • Tighten the chain cover nuts securely.
3. Fill the Oil Reservoir:
   • Locate the oil reservoir cap.
   • Fill the reservoir with SAE 20 or SAE 30 chainsaw bar and chain oil (not included). The capacity is 120 ml.

   • Securely replace the oil reservoir cap.

5. Operating Instructions

Before starting, ensure you have read and understood all safety instructions.

1. Starting the Chainsaw:
   • Plug the chainsaw into a suitable power outlet (230-240V~/50Hz).
   • Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, one on the main handle and one on the auxiliary handle.
   • Engage the safety switch and press the trigger to start the motor.
2. Cutting Technique:
   • Allow the chain to reach full speed before making contact with the wood.
