4. Setup and Installation
A power drill is the primary tool required for installation. Ensure accurate window measurements for proper fit.
4.1. Measuring Your Window
Accurate measurements are crucial for a perfect fit. Measure your window carefully before ordering or installing.
- Inside Mount: The window depth should be at least 2.5 inches. Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window frame, and use the smallest measurement as the shade width. Measure the height at the left, middle, and right points, and use the largest measurement as the shade height.
- Outside Mount: For outside mount, add 4 inches to both the width and height measurements of your window to determine the required blind size. This helps eliminate light gaps for full blackout coverage.

4.2. Mounting the Brackets
Attach the mounting brackets securely to your window frame or wall using the provided screws. Ensure they are level and spaced correctly according to your shade's width.
4.3. Attaching the Shade
Once the brackets are in place, simply slide the motorized roller shade into the brackets until it clicks securely. Ensure the shade is properly seated and level.
4.4. Connecting the Solar Panel
The solar panel can be affixed to your window to continuously charge the shade's battery. Connect the solar panel cable to the designated port on the shade. It is recommended to keep the solar panel plugged in at all times for optimal power supply.

5. Operating Instructions
Your motorized shades can be operated using the included remote control. For advanced control, optional accessories are available.
5.1. Remote Control Operation
The remote control allows you to raise, lower, and stop the shades at any desired position. The shades can be freely adjusted between 0-72 inches in height.
- Press the Up Arrow button to raise the shade.
- Press the Down Arrow button to lower the shade.
- Press the Stop/Pause button to halt the shade at its current position.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
The shades should be spot cleaned only. Do not machine wash or submerge in water.
6.2. Wrinkle Removal
Due to the unique properties of the fabric, wrinkles may form during transportation. To remove wrinkles, gently use an iron for one second on the affected area, or allow the blinds to hang for approximately one week, and wrinkles will naturally diminish.

6.3. Solar Panel Care
Periodically clean the surface of the solar panel to ensure it remains free of dust and debris, which can affect charging efficiency. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.

- Shade Not Responding to Remote: Ensure the remote control has working batteries. If using a 15-channel remote, verify that the correct channel is selected for the specific shade. Re-pair the remote if necessary (refer to specific pairing instructions provided with the remote).
- Shade Not Charging via Solar Panel: Ensure the solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight. Verify that the solar panel cable is securely connected to the shade. If the window is too high or lacks an outlet, consider an external power supply for occasional charging.
- Light Gaps on Sides (Outside Mount): While outside mount minimizes light gaps, some minor gaps may still occur. For complete blackout, ensure the shade width extends sufficiently beyond the window frame.
- Smart Hub/App Control Issues: If experiencing problems with smart control, ensure your smart hub is properly connected to your network and paired with the shades. Check the hub's specific instructions for troubleshooting connectivity or pairing issues.
