3. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Physical Installation
- Prepare Tubing: Trim the 1/4" tubing to the desired lengths based on the distance from the pump to your plants.
- Connect Pump: Connect the tubing to the water inlet and outlet ports of the WS-2 Solar Timing Pump. Ensure connections are snug. If tubing is stiff due to cold, warm it slightly to ease connection.
- Attach Check Valve and Filter: Attach the check valve to the water outlet near the pump. The check valve prevents water backflow. Ensure it is oriented correctly (blow into one end; air should only pass one way). Insert the filter into the water source container. The filter should be submerged and positioned to prevent debris from entering the pump. If the filter floats, weigh it down.
- Route Tubing: Insert the pipe end of the inlet tubing into your water source container, ensuring the filter is attached and submerged. Route the outlet tubing to your plants.
- Install Fittings and Drippers: Connect appropriate barb fittings (T-barb, Straight barb, Cross barb) to distribute water to multiple plants. Attach micro drip emitters at each plant location, ensuring they are positioned to water the roots.
- Secure Tubing Ends: After water flows out from the end of the pipe (to remove air), install tubing end caps to prevent air in the pipe and ensure proper water pressure to the drippers.

4.2 Powering the System
The WS-2 pump unit is powered by a built-in 2600mAh lithium battery, which is primarily charged by the integrated solar panel. The solar panel angle can be adjusted to maximize sunlight absorption.

- Duration (10 seconds - 60 minutes)
- Frequency (Every day, every other day, custom days)
- Plan Bypass/Delay (1-3 days)
- Calendar View: The app provides a visual calendar to easily manage and review all scheduled watering events.
- Water Shortage Alerts: Receive real-time notifications on your phone if the water reservoir runs low, preventing the pump from running dry.
