2. Important Safety Information
Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury and damage to the equipment:
- Read All Instructions: Familiarize yourself with the operation and safety procedures before using the polisher.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, and appropriate work gloves. A dust mask is recommended for dry grinding operations.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply matches the tool's voltage (110-120V 60Hz). Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating in wet conditions. Do not operate with damaged cords or plugs.
- Work Area: Keep the work area clean, well-lit, and free from obstructions. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially during dry grinding.
- Secure Workpiece: Ensure the surface being polished or ground is stable and securely supported.
- Avoid Overreaching: Maintain proper footing and balance at all times.
- Unplug When Not In Use: Disconnect the tool from the power source before making adjustments, changing accessories, or performing maintenance.
- Keep Children Away: Do not allow children or untrained personnel to operate the polisher.
3. Product Features

5. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to prepare your polisher for operation:
5.1 Attaching Handles
- Identify the desired handle configuration for your comfort and application.
- Securely attach the auxiliary handles to the designated mounting points on the main polisher unit using the provided fasteners. Ensure they are tightened to prevent movement during operation.
5.2 Connecting Water Feed Line (for wet operation)
- Connect one end of the water feed line to the water inlet port on the polisher.
- Connect the other end to a suitable water source.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The integrated valve allows for water flow control.

6. Operating Instructions
Proper operation ensures optimal results and tool longevity.
6.1 Pre-Operation Checklist
- Ensure all safety gear is worn.
- Confirm handles and pads are securely attached.
- Check power cord for damage.
- For wet operation, ensure water supply is connected and ready. For dry operation, ensure dust extraction is connected.
6.2 Wet Polishing
- Turn on the water supply and adjust the flow using the valve to ensure adequate lubrication and cooling of the polishing pads and surface.
- Place the polisher gently onto the surface to be worked.
- Turn on the polisher and select the desired speed setting.
- Move the polisher in a consistent, overlapping pattern across the surface, applying even pressure.
- Monitor water flow to prevent overheating and to flush away abrasive slurry.
- When finished, turn off the polisher, then turn off the water supply, and lift the tool from the surface.
6.3 Dry Polishing/Grinding
- Ensure the dust extraction hoses are securely connected to a suitable vacuum system.
- Place the polisher gently onto the surface.
- Turn on the polisher and select the desired speed setting.
- Move the polisher in a consistent, overlapping pattern, applying even pressure.
- Regularly check the dust collection system and empty as needed.
- When finished, turn off the polisher and lift the tool from the surface.
6.4 Speed Adjustment
The polisher features six speed settings. Adjust the speed according to the material being worked on and the desired finish. Lower speeds are generally used for initial grinding and higher speeds for fine polishing.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance extends the life of your polisher and ensures consistent performance.
7.1 Cleaning
- After Each Use: Disconnect from power. Clean the polisher unit, especially the planetary head and pad attachments, to remove slurry, dust, and debris. Use a damp cloth for the main body.
- Water Lines: Flush the water feed line after wet operation to prevent mineral buildup.
- Dust Hoses: Clear any blockages in the dust extraction hoses.
7.2 Storage
- Store the polisher in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the power cord is neatly coiled and not kinked.
7.3 Pad Replacement
- Regularly inspect polishing pads for wear and tear.
- Replace worn pads promptly to maintain polishing effectiveness and prevent damage to the surface or tool.
8. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their potential solutions.
- Polisher Does Not Start:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a live outlet.
- Verify the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses.
- Poor Polishing Results / Uneven Finish:
- Ensure polishing pads are clean and not excessively worn.
- Verify correct pad grit for the current stage of polishing.
- Apply even pressure and maintain a consistent movement pattern.
- Adjust speed setting as appropriate for the material.
- Excessive Vibration:
- Check if polishing pads are properly seated and balanced.
- Ensure all fasteners, especially those for handles and the planetary head, are tight.
- Water Leakage (Wet Operation):
- Inspect all water line connections for tightness.
- Check the water line for cracks or damage.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, contact customer support.
