2. Product Components

3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Spotting Scope to the Tripod

3. Align the tripod attachment base of the spotting scope with the screw on the tripod.
4. Rotate the fixing knob on the tripod clockwise until the scope is securely fastened. Do not overtighten.

3.2 Attaching the Smartphone Adapter

1. Attach the smartphone adapter to the eyepiece of the spotting scope. Ensure it is firmly seated.
2. Place your smartphone into the adapter's clamp. Adjust the clamp to securely hold your phone.
3. Align your phone's camera lens with the eyepiece of the spotting scope. You may need to adjust the adapter's position to achieve a clear, circular view on your phone screen.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Magnification

1. Remove the objective lens and eyepiece covers.
2. Look through the eyepiece.
3. Rotate the magnification focus ring (located on the eyepiece) to adjust the magnification from 20x to 60x. Start at a lower magnification (20x) to easily locate your subject, then increase as needed for more detail.

4.2 Focusing

1. Once you have selected your desired magnification, slowly rotate the main focus wheel until the image appears sharp and clear.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe the lens surfaces. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of optical lens cleaning fluid applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
