2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Keep packaging materials away from children.
3.2 Location
Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and access. The appliance dimensions are 58 x 60 x 85 cm (Depth x Width x Height).

3.3 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap. Ensure the drain hose is properly positioned in a standpipe or sink, preventing kinks or blockages. The fill connection and outlet pipe are both mounted on the left side of the rear of the machine.
3.4 Levelling
Adjust the appliance's feet to ensure it is perfectly level. This prevents excessive vibration and noise during operation.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Loading Laundry
Open the door and load laundry into the drum. Do not overload the machine; the maximum capacity is 9 kg. Ensure no items are trapped in the door seal before closing.

4.2 Adding Detergent
Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add appropriate amounts of detergent and fabric softener to the designated compartments. Refer to your detergent packaging for recommended dosages.

4.3 Selecting a Program
Turn the program selector dial to choose your desired wash program. The Candy RapidO features a comprehensive set of 9 rapid programs designed to save time. The display panel will show the selected program and estimated time.

4.4 Start/Pause
Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle. Press it again to pause the cycle if needed.
4.5 hOn App Connectivity
This appliance supports connectivity with the hOn app, offering additional washing options and notifications about the washing cycle. Refer to the app's instructions for pairing and usage.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your washing machine.
5.1 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
Periodically remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer to prevent residue buildup. Rinse it under running water.
5.2 Cleaning the Drum
Run a maintenance wash (e.g., a hot cycle with no laundry and a descaling agent) regularly to clean the drum and prevent odors.

5.3 Cleaning the Filter
Locate and clean the drain pump filter regularly to remove lint and small objects. Refer to the full user manual for detailed instructions on accessing the filter.
5.4 Exterior Care
Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
