Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to vacuum seal your mason jars:
- Fill the Jar: Place your food items into the mason jar. For solid foods like fruits and pickles, leave approximately 1/2 inch of space from the rim. For soft foods such as jams and jellies, leave 1 inch of space. Ensure the jar rim is clean and dry.
- Place Lid: Position a canning lid (either wide or regular mouth, depending on your jar) onto the jar.
- Position Sealer: Place the M12 vacuum sealer directly over the canning lid, ensuring it is centered and firmly pressed onto the jar lid.
- Start Sealing: Press the power button on the top of the sealer. The device will automatically begin the vacuum sealing process. The LED display will show the negative pressure value as it seals.
- Automatic Stop: The M12 sealer is equipped with an auto-stop function. It will automatically cease operation once the vacuum work is completed, reaching a target pressure of -75kPa. There is no need to manually stop the device.
- Remove Sealer: Once the sealing process is complete and the device has stopped, carefully lift the sealer from the jar. The lid should now be securely sealed.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe the sealing surface and the interior of the sealer with a damp cloth to remove any food residue. Ensure the device is completely dry before storage. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Battery Care: To maintain battery longevity, charge the device when the battery indicator on the LED display is low. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently. The high-capacity battery allows for approximately 320 canning jars to be vacuumed on a single 2-hour charge.
- Silicone Ring Inspection: Periodically inspect the double-layer sealing silicone ring inside the sealer for any signs of wear, damage, or displacement. A properly seated and intact silicone ring is crucial for an effective seal.
