5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting Height
The VEVOR Step Stool features three-stage height adjustments for both the stool legs and the handrail. Hole positioning locks provide an easy way to adjust the height while maintaining stability.
- Remove Handrail (Recommended): For easier adjustment of the leg height, it is suggested to remove the handrail first by pressing the pins and pulling the handrail upwards.
- Adjust Leg Height: Press the spring-loaded pins on each leg and slide the leg extension to the desired height setting. Ensure the pins fully engage in the corresponding holes for all four legs.
- Adjust Handrail Height: If the handrail was removed, re-insert it. Then, press the pins on the handrail posts and slide them to the desired height. Ensure the pins fully engage.
- Verify Stability: Always double-check that all pins are securely locked in place before using the step stool.

7. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Assembling Legs/Handrail: The components are designed for a tight fit to ensure stability. Apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., soap, hand lotion, or WD-40) to the connecting ends. Use a rubber mallet or firm pressure to fully engage the parts. Ensure the spring-loaded pins are depressed when inserting and then allowed to snap into the desired holes.
- Stool Feels Unstable: Double-check that all height adjustment pins are fully engaged and locked into their respective holes. Ensure the step stool is placed on a flat, even surface. Verify that all rubber foot covers are present and intact.
- Slipping: Ensure the anti-slip surface on the pedal is clean and dry. Check that the rubber foot covers are not worn or missing.
