Connecting your phone via Bluetooth integrates essential phone functions, reducing the need to handle your phone while driving. Voice assistants like Google Assistant or Siri can be used for calls, navigation, and music playback, promoting safer driving. Note: This device does not have a recording function. Before purchase, ensure your mobile phone supports wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto. SHARP and HUAWEI devices are not compatible. Synchronize this wireless motorcycle CarPlay unit with compatible smartphones (excluding SHARP and HUAWEI) and Bluetooth-enabled headsets or helmets (sold separately) for wireless calls and music without removing your helmet. This allows for hands-free communication while keeping your phone securely stored.

Setup
1. Mounting the Device
Use the provided motorcycle mount and mirror bracket to securely attach the display to your motorcycle's handlebar. The anti-theft screw design helps prevent unauthorized removal. Ensure the mount is tightened sufficiently to withstand vibrations during riding.
2. Power Connection
Connect the display to your motorcycle's power source using either the ACC connection or the included USB charging cable. The USB output voltage should be 5V with an output current of 2A or higher for optimal performance.
3. Initial Pairing (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi)
After powering on the device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings on the display. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for the PARKVISION device. Select it to pair. For wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, ensure your phone's Wi-Fi is also enabled as these features often utilize a Wi-Fi connection established after the initial Bluetooth pairing.
Operating Instructions
1. Using CarPlay/Android Auto
Once your smartphone is successfully paired, the display will automatically launch CarPlay or Android Auto (depending on your phone's operating system). You can then access compatible applications directly from the display.
2. Navigation
Access navigation applications through CarPlay or Android Auto. The 5-inch HD IPS screen with 1000 nits peak brightness ensures clear map visibility even in direct sunlight. Use the touchscreen to input destinations and control navigation.
3. Phone Calls
With your phone connected via Bluetooth, you can make and receive calls directly from the display. Your phonebook and call history will synchronize, allowing for hands-free communication through a connected Bluetooth helmet or headset.
4. Music Playback
Access music streaming applications through CarPlay or Android Auto. Audio will be routed to your paired Bluetooth helmet or headset.
5. Voice Control
Utilize Google Assistant or Siri for voice commands to control navigation, make calls, or play music, enhancing safety by keeping your hands on the handlebars.
6. Touchscreen Operation
The capacitive touchscreen allows for intuitive interaction with the device's interface and connected applications. The screen is designed for responsiveness, even when wearing gloves.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the screen and device body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the display or waterproof seals.
2. Environmental Considerations
The device is designed with an IPX7 waterproof rating, making it suitable for use in heavy rain. It operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C. While robust, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures outside this range.
Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and receiving adequate power (5V, 2A or higher). Check motorcycle's power source.
- Cannot connect to smartphone: Verify that your smartphone supports wireless CarPlay or Android Auto and is running iOS 10+ or Android 11+. Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone. Remember that SHARP and HUAWEI devices are not compatible.
- Poor screen visibility: Adjust the screen brightness settings. The included sunshade can help reduce glare in bright conditions.
- Audio issues: Ensure your Bluetooth helmet or headset is properly paired and connected to the display. Check volume levels on both the display and your headset.
- Display freezes or is unresponsive: Try restarting the device by cycling its power. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
