Setup

1. Pre-Installation Check

Before beginning installation, ensure your door meets the following specifications:

  • Door thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" (30-50mm)
  • Latch length: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm)
  • Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm)
  • Cross bore diameter: 2-1/8" (54mm)
  • Edge bore diameter: 1" (25mm)

The lock is designed for single cylinder deadbolts and is compatible with both left-handed and right-handed doors. It is not compatible with integrated, mortise, or rim cylinder lock types.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking Methods

  • Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock within 1 second if the fingerprint is recognized.
  • Passcode: Enter your registered passcode on the keypad, followed by the '#' key.
  • Mechanical Key: In case of emergency or depleted batteries, use one of the provided mechanical keys to unlock the door. The keyhole is discreetly located.
  • One-Time Passcode: For temporary access, generate a one-time passcode. This code will automatically delete after a single use.

One-time code feature for temporary access

Locking Methods

  • Auto-Lock: The lock can be configured to automatically lock after a set period (5-59 seconds) once the door is closed. This feature can be enabled or disabled during programming.
  • One-Touch Lock: From the outside, press and hold the "lock/unlock" button on the keypad for 3 seconds to immediately lock the door.

Advanced Security Features

  • Anti-Peeping Password: When entering your passcode, you can input any random digits before or after your actual code. For example, if your code is 123456, you can enter 987123456000 to unlock the door. This prevents others from discerning your actual passcode.
  • Privacy Mode (Anti-Lock): To prevent external unlocking, activate the privacy mode from the inside of the door. This is typically done by pressing a specific button or lever on the interior handle.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The 52HZ G10 Pro lock is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included). When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible and/or visual alert. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
