Recipes
Your bread maker comes with a dedicated recipe book. It is highly recommended to follow these recipes, especially for initial use, as they are optimized for this specific machine. Experiment with the 19 programs to create various types of bread, doughs, jams, and even yogurt.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your bread maker.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Bread Pan and Kneading Paddle: The ceramic non-stick pan and kneading paddle are easy to clean. Wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating. The pan is also dishwasher safe for the interior, but the exterior metal may rub off in a dishwasher.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the bread maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Lid and Viewing Window: Clean the lid and viewing window with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the bread maker. Store in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your bread maker, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bread does not rise | Yeast is old or inactive; incorrect water temperature; too much salt. | Check yeast expiration date; use lukewarm water (105-115°F); reduce salt amount. |
| Bread is too dense | Too much flour; not enough liquid; incorrect program. | Measure ingredients precisely; ensure correct liquid-to-flour ratio; select appropriate program. |
| Kneading paddle stuck in bread | Common occurrence. | Allow bread to cool slightly, then use the hook tool to carefully remove the paddle. Coating the paddle shaft with a little Crisco before use can help. |
| Machine is noisy during operation | Normal during kneading cycles; unstable surface. | Ensure the bread maker is on a stable, flat surface. Some noise during kneading is expected. |
| Bread overflows the pan | Too many ingredients for selected loaf size. | Reduce ingredient quantities, especially flour, to match the selected loaf size (e.g., 2lb loaf may require 3 cups of flour, not 4). |
