Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

The lock requires batteries for operation. When the voltage drops below 4.9V, the red light will flash 4 times continuously, indicating low battery. You can still unlock the door at this point. When the voltage is lower than 3.5V, the red light will flash 3 times rapidly, and the lock cannot be unlocked. You will need to use the physical key or an external power source to gain entry and replace the batteries.

To replace batteries, open the battery compartment on the interior handle. Use 4 AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity.

2. Cleaning

Wipe the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish or electronic components.

Troubleshooting

  • Lock not responding: Check battery levels. If low, replace batteries or use emergency power.
  • Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if issues persist.
  • Passcode not working: Double-check the entered code. Ensure the lock is awake before entering the code.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range of the lock. Restart the app or re-pair the device if necessary.
  • Lock not auto-locking: Verify the auto-lock setting in the app or through manual configuration.
  • Resetting to Factory Settings: To delete all fingerprints, passwords, cards, and Bluetooth data, wake up the system (0#), then enter 888#. Verify with an administrator fingerprint/initial password. This will restore factory settings.
