1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SURFOU Wireless Doorbell System. This system features a battery-operated receiver, two waterproof transmitters, a long wireless range, and multiple chime options. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and longevity of your device.

2. Package Contents
Verify that all items listed below are included in your package:

3. Safety Information
- Do not expose the receiver to direct moisture or extreme temperatures. The transmitter is IP55 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Ensure the mounting surface for the transmitter is clean and dry before installation.
4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Transmitter (Doorbell Button) Installation
The transmitter is designed for outdoor use and is IP55 dustproof and waterproof. It operates on a 23A 12V battery, which is included.
- Battery Installation: Open the transmitter casing using the provided mini screwdriver. Insert the 23A 12V battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the casing securely.
- Choose a Mounting Location: Select a flat, clean surface near your door. Ensure the location is within the wireless range of your receiver (up to 1300 feet in open areas).
- Mounting Method 1: Double-Sided Adhesive Tape
- Clean the back of the transmitter and the desired mounting surface.
- Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape and attach it firmly to the back of the transmitter.
- Peel off the other side of the protective film and press the transmitter firmly onto the wall for at least 30 seconds.
- Mounting Method 2: Screws
- Open the transmitter casing.
- Mark the positions for drilling holes on the wall using the transmitter's screw holes as a guide.
- Drill holes and insert the wall anchors.
- Align the transmitter with the drilled holes and secure it with the provided screws.
- Close the transmitter casing.
- Optionally, attach the 'Please Ring Bell' sign near the transmitter for visibility.

4.2. Receiver Installation
The receiver is battery-operated (3 AAA batteries, included) and does not require a power outlet, offering flexible placement.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the receiver. Insert 3 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity. Close the compartment.
- Placement: Place the receiver in a central location within your home where the chime can be heard clearly. Consider areas like living rooms, kitchens, or hallways. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or other electronic devices that might interfere with the wireless signal.
- Testing Range: After placing the receiver, press the transmitter button to ensure the signal is received and the chime sounds. Adjust receiver placement if necessary to optimize signal strength.

5. Operating Instructions
The receiver features a digital display, volume control, and chime selection buttons.

5.1. Adjusting Volume
The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from silent (0dB) to 110dB.
- Press the Volume Button on the side of the receiver repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume levels.
- The current volume level will be indicated by the LED display or an audible cue.

5.2. Selecting a Chime
The receiver has 55 selectable ringtones, including a Christmas song.
- Press the Forward Button or Backward Button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available chimes. Each press will play the next or previous chime.
- Once you hear a chime you prefer, stop pressing the buttons. The receiver will automatically save your selection.

5.3. Pairing Additional Transmitters/Receivers
The system supports expansion with multiple transmitters and receivers of the same model (up to 64,000 learning codes).
- Ensure the new receiver or transmitter has batteries installed.
- On the receiver, press and hold the Volume Button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a 'ding' sound and the LED indicator flashes. This indicates pairing mode.
- Within 10 seconds, press the button on the transmitter you wish to pair. The receiver will chime, confirming successful pairing.
- Repeat for any additional transmitters.
5.4. Memory Function
The built-in memory chip retains your last selected chime and volume settings, even after battery replacement or power interruption.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
- Transmitter: The transmitter uses a 23A 12V battery with an estimated life of up to 3 years. When the signal weakens or the transmitter stops working, replace the battery by opening the casing with the mini screwdriver.
- Receiver: The receiver uses 3 AAA batteries. Replace them when the chime volume decreases significantly or the receiver stops functioning.

6.2. Cleaning
- Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.3. Waterproof Rating
The transmitter has an IP55 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is designed to withstand various weather conditions, with a working temperature range of -30°C to 70°C (-22°F to 158°F).

7. Troubleshooting
- No Sound from Receiver:
- Check if the receiver batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the volume is not set to mute (0dB). Adjust using the Volume Button.
- Verify that the transmitter battery is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Re-pair the transmitter and receiver (refer to Section 5.3).
- Short Wireless Range:
- Ensure there are no significant metal obstructions (e.g., thick metal doors, large appliances) between the transmitter and receiver.
- Relocate the receiver to a more central position or closer to the transmitter.
- Check and replace batteries in both units.
- Chime Not Changing:
- Ensure you are pressing the Forward or Backward buttons on the receiver to cycle through chimes.
- After selecting a chime, allow a few seconds for the setting to save.
- Interference with Other Devices:
- The system uses a unique learning code to minimize interference. If interference occurs, try re-pairing the units.
