Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death.
- Adult Supervision Required: Always provide active adult supervision to children and individuals with disabilities in and around the pool.
- No Diving: This pool is not designed for diving. Shallow water can cause serious injury.
- Clear Area: Keep children away from the pool cover to avoid entanglement. Ensure the area around the pool is clear of obstacles.
- Chemical Use: Handle pool chemicals according to manufacturer instructions. Improper use can cause skin and eye irritation.
- Electrical Safety: Connect the filter pump to a grounded 110v outlet protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Do not use extension cords.
- Ladder Safety: Use the ladder only for entering and exiting the pool. Do not allow children to play on the ladder.
Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:
- 1 x INTEX Prism Structural Pool Liner (8,592 Liters capacity)
- 1 x INTEX Filter Pump (2,006 Liters/hour, 110v)
- 1 x INTEX Safety Ladder
- Complete Metal Frame Components (legs, horizontal beams, pins)
- Hoses and Clamps for Filter Pump Connection
- Ground Cloth (may be included or recommended separately)
Setup Instructions
- Site Selection: Choose a firm, level surface for pool installation. The area must be free of sharp objects, debris, and have adequate drainage. Ensure the ground can support the weight of the filled pool.
- Ground Cloth Placement: Lay the ground cloth (if included) on the selected site. This protects the pool liner from punctures.
- Frame Assembly: Following the diagrams provided in the separate assembly guide, connect all metal frame components. Ensure all T-joints, horizontal beams, and vertical legs are securely interlocked with the spring-loaded pins.
- Liner Installation: Carefully spread the pool liner within the assembled frame. Position the drain plug away from the main traffic area. Smooth out any major wrinkles in the bottom of the liner.
- Pump Connection: Connect the filter pump to the designated inlet and outlet ports on the pool liner using the provided hoses and clamps. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Ladder Assembly: Assemble the safety ladder according to its specific instructions. Place the ladder securely against the pool.
- Filling the Pool: Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, continue to smooth out any remaining wrinkles in the liner from the center outwards. Stop filling when the water reaches the recommended level, typically just below the top frame rail.

Operating Instructions
- Initial Pump Operation: Ensure the filter pump is properly connected to the pool and a grounded 110v GFCI outlet. Open all valves to allow water flow. Turn on the pump. It may take a few moments for water to circulate and air to purge from the system.
- Daily Operation: Run the filter pump for 2-4 hours daily to maintain water circulation and filtration. The exact duration may vary based on pool usage, water clarity, and environmental conditions.
Maintenance
- Water Chemistry: Regularly test your pool water's pH and chlorine levels using a pool test kit. Maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.6, and chlorine levels between 1-3 ppm. Adjust as needed with appropriate pool chemicals.
- Cleaning: Skim debris (leaves, insects) from the water surface daily. Vacuum the pool floor as necessary to remove settled dirt and particles.
- Filter Cartridge: Turn off and unplug the filter pump before cleaning or replacing the filter cartridge. Clean or replace the filter cartridge every 2 weeks, or more frequently with heavy pool use or if water appears cloudy.
- Winterization: For regions with freezing temperatures, consult local guidelines for proper pool winterization procedures to prevent damage to the pool and equipment.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudy Water | Insufficient filtration, improper chemical balance, heavy use. | Check/clean filter cartridge, adjust water chemicals, run pump for longer periods. |
| Filter Pump Not Working | No power, clogged impeller, airlock in system. | Check power connection and GFCI, clean impeller, bleed air from pump. |
| Water Leakage | Loose hose connections, damaged liner, faulty drain plug. | Tighten hose clamps, inspect liner for punctures (use repair kit), ensure drain plug is secure. |
