1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials and dispose of them responsibly.
  3. Inspect the appliance for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact your retailer.

3.2 Placement

Choose a suitable location for the dehumidifier. For optimal performance, place it in the room where dehumidification is most needed.

3.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the appliance.

3.4 Continuous Drainage (Optional)

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can connect a drainage hose (not always included, check packaging) to the continuous drainage port located at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to drain by gravity into a suitable drain.

4. Operating Instructions

The control panel is located on the top of the dehumidifier. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and indicators.

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.

4.2 Setting Desired Humidity

Press the Humidity button repeatedly to cycle through desired humidity levels (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%, Continuous). The selected humidity level will be displayed.

4.3 Timer Function

Press the Timer button to set the operating duration (e.g., 2, 4, 8 hours). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

4.4 Sleep Mode

Activate Sleep Mode for quiet operation during the night. In this mode, the fan speed is reduced, and the display lights may dim or turn off.

4.5 Child Lock

Press and hold the Child Lock button (often combined with another function, refer to control panel image for specific icon) for a few seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock. This prevents accidental changes to settings.

4.6 Water Tank Full Indicator

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate. Empty the water tank as described in the Maintenance section.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

5.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Locate the air filter cover on the back of the unit (refer to Image 3.1).
  3. Remove the filter.
  4. Wash the filter with clean water and a mild detergent.
  5. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
  6. Reinstall the dry filter and close the cover.

Clean the air filter every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

5.2 Emptying and Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating. Carefully pull out the water tank from the front or side of the unit.
  2. Empty the collected water.
  3. Clean the tank with a mild detergent and water periodically to prevent mold or mildew growth.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and ensure it is dry before reinserting it into the dehumidifier.
  5. Push the tank firmly back into place until it clicks.
