- Straight Cut: For basic, linear cuts.
- Flat Cut (Surface Cut): For reducing the thickness of a foam board.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cutting wire/blade not heating | No power supply; damaged wire/blade; faulty connection. | Check power plug and outlet. Ensure foot switch is pressed (GAZELLE 7). Inspect wire/blade for damage and replace if necessary. Check all connections. |
| Uneven or rough cuts | Wire/blade not hot enough; material moved during cut; wire/blade worn or dirty; incorrect cutting speed. | Allow wire/blade to heat fully. Secure material firmly. Replace worn wire/blade. Clean wire/blade. Adjust cutting speed. |
| Wire breaks frequently | Wire tension too high; forcing the cut; material too dense; wire defect. | Check wire tension. Do not force the cut; let the heat do the work. Ensure material is suitable for hot wire cutting. Replace with a new wire. |
| Tool does not turn on | No power supply; main switch off; internal fault. | Check power connection. Ensure main switch is on. If problem persists, contact customer support. |
