1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your JORLAI 9-in-1 Turntable, Model T408. This versatile audio system combines a 3-speed turntable with a CD player, cassette player, AM/FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, USB/SD/MMC playback, 3.5mm Aux-in, and RCA-out ports. 3. What's in the Box

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

• Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
• Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

4.2 Power Connection

• Connect the power cable to the AC input on the back of the unit.
• Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet.

4.3 Initial Inspection

• Remove any protective packaging materials from the turntable platter and tonearm.
• Ensure the stylus protector is removed from the needle before playing records.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Controls

Locate the main power button, volume control, and mode selection buttons on the front panel of the unit. Use the mode button to switch between Phono (Vinyl), CD, Cassette, Radio, Bluetooth, USB, SD, and Aux-in modes.

5.2 Turntable Operation (Phono Mode)

1. Lift the dust cover.
2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
3. Select the appropriate speed (33⅓, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the spindle.
4. Gently lift the tonearm using the cue lever and position the stylus over the desired track on the record.
5. Lower the cue lever to slowly drop the stylus onto the record. Playback will begin.
6. Adjust the volume to your preference.
7. At the end of the record, the auto-stop function may stop the platter rotation (if enabled). Manually return the tonearm to its rest.

5.3 CD Player Operation (CD Mode)

1. Press the Mode button to select CD mode.
2. Press the Eject button to open the CD tray.
3. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
4. Close the CD tray. The unit will read the CD and begin playback automatically or display the track count.
5. Use the Play/Pause, Skip, and Stop buttons to control playback.

5.4 Cassette Player Operation (Tape Mode)

1. Press the Mode button to select Tape mode.
2. Insert a cassette tape into the cassette deck.
3. Press the Play button to start playback.
4. Use the Fast Forward, Rewind, and Stop buttons to control playback.

5.5 AM/FM Radio Operation (Radio Mode)

1. Press the Mode button to select Radio mode.
2. Extend the FM antenna for better reception.
3. Use the Tuning knob to scan for desired AM or FM stations.

5.6 Bluetooth Connectivity (Bluetooth Mode)

1. Press the Mode button to select Bluetooth mode. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth indicator.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "JORLAI" from the list of devices to pair.
4. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the turntable.

5.7 USB/SD/MMC Playback (USB/SD Mode)

1. Insert a USB drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the corresponding slot.
2. Press the Mode button to select USB or SD mode.
3. The unit will automatically detect and play compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
4. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Skip) to navigate your music.

5.8 Aux-in Connection

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the 3.5mm Aux-in jack using an audio cable (not included).
2. Press the Mode button to select Aux-in mode.
3. Control playback from your external device.

5.9 RCA-out Connection

1. To connect the turntable to an external amplifier or powered speakers, use an RCA cable (not included).
2. Connect the RCA-out ports on the back of the turntable to the corresponding input ports on your external audio equipment.
3. Ensure the external equipment is set to the correct input source.

5.10 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of various functions, including power on/off, mode selection, volume adjustment, and playback controls for CD, USB, and SD modes. Ensure the remote has working batteries and is pointed towards the unit's sensor.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Unit

• Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
• Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation on the turntable platter and stylus.

6.2 Stylus Care

• The stylus is a delicate component. Handle it with care.
• Clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
• Replace the stylus when you notice a degradation in sound quality or visible wear.
