Setup and Installation

The KODA Multi-Directional Shop Light can be installed using either suspended or surface mounting methods. Ensure power is disconnected before installation.

Suspended Mounting (Recommended for Garages/Workshops)

  1. Mark Mounting Points: Determine the desired location for your light fixture. Mark two points on the ceiling or overhead structure that align with the mounting holes on the fixture.
  2. Install Ceiling Hooks: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall anchors if mounting into drywall. Screw the ceiling hooks (V-hooks) into the anchors or directly into a sturdy structure.
  3. Attach Chains: Connect the hanging chains to the V-hooks on the ceiling and the S-hooks on the fixture. Adjust chain length to achieve the desired hanging height.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the 5 ft. power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

Surface Mounting

  1. Mark Mounting Points: Hold the fixture against the desired mounting surface (ceiling or wall) and mark the locations for the mounting screws.
  2. Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Use wall anchors if mounting into drywall.
  3. Secure Fixture: Align the fixture with the pilot holes and secure it using the provided mounting screws.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the 5 ft. power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

Linking Multiple Fixtures

Up to 6 KODA Multi-Directional Shop Lights can be linked in series. To link fixtures:

  1. Ensure all fixtures are securely mounted.
  2. Connect the power cord of the first fixture to an outlet.
  3. Use the provided linking cable (if applicable, or an additional power cord) to connect the convenience outlet on the first fixture to the power input of the second fixture.
  4. Repeat for additional fixtures, up to a maximum of 6.
